Long Orange Line
"No other medium provides students with the simultaneous mental and physical demands that are experienced during a marching band field show. Students learn that hard work does make a difference, that attention to detail promotes high quality, and that power and subtlety can elicit emotions. Surely, this is a unique art form."

— Kevin J. McHugh, Superintendent, Pennsbury School District

The Pennsbury Marching Band is internationally recognized as one of the premier High School Bands in the United States. The "Long Orange Line" is the only foreign musical ensemble to perform at Beijing's Tiananmen Square, and also upon the Great Wall in the People's Republic of China (1988). Since its inception in 1949, the band has been featured at bowl games and parades throughout the world and was the first to perform at all five Walt Disney theme parks: California, Florida, Paris, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
