August 2008 Newsletter

From the Coordinator’s Desk -  Mr. Mazzeo

It would be very easy to be Coordinator of an outstanding instrumental music program such as Pennsbury’s and have an attitude of “just keep it going and we will be fine”!

The President's Report - Karen Fox

To continue marching band members, and to all of our other instrumental families who are a part pf Pennsbury's award winning music programs, welcome back.

From the Director's Desk - Frank Mazzeo

We have some exciting things planned for the high school program this year.

Welcome New Marching Band Members

The musicians, band front, staff and Boosters are pleased to welcome the following new members to the Pennsbury High School Marching Band.  We are looking forward to an exciting year together.

Fundraising Activities - Stan Gursky

In addition to cheers, praise and applause the booster organization supports our students through fundraising activities.  We have a substantial operating budget that is approved each year.

Marching Band Brief History

The Pennsbury Marching Band is internationally recognized as one of the premier High School Marching Bands in the United States. In March of 2008 the “Long Orange Line” was the featured halftime performers at the International Rugby Tournament “Hong Kong Sevens” in Hong Kong China.
